| The Lanier Gardens-Talmage Terrace retirement community is located on Riverhill Drive adjacent to Beechwood Shopping Center and three miles from thriving downtown Athens and the University of Georgia campus. Lanier Gardens-Talmage Terrace is in the Athens-Elberton District of the United Methodist Church. This retirement community serves persons 62 years and older of all income levels with independent living and personal care programs.
Lanier Gardens offers one-bedroom apartments in a five-story building where HUD financial assistance is available. Talmage Terrace offers one and two-bedroom apartments and personal care apartments in a seven-story building. A nutritious meal program is available for both retirement communities. Weekly housekeeping and linen service are provided for Talmage Terrace residents. Personal care services include 24 hour watchful oversight.

Directions to Lanier Gardens/Talmage Terrace from Atlanta
Take Interstate 285 East to Interstate 20 East to Conyers. Take the Highway 138 Exit. At the end of the ramp, turn left and at Monroe, Highway138 will merge into Highway 78E. Continue into Bogart, then exit right, on Highway 316. Highway 316 turns into Epps Bridge Parkway at the 10 Loop. Continue on Epps Bridge Parkway, which yields into Highway 78 East. At the 4th traffic light, turn right onto Alps Road. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right. Lanier Gardens/Talmage Terrace will be on the right.
